BACKUP TO CD/DVD WRITER

XMedia Backup supports store backuped file to CD/DVD discs.
If you have CD/DVD writer device installed on your system possibly it is the best choice for you to use it for your backups. It is more reliable than backing up to another HDD in your system, since you can keep CD/DVD disks in a different place away from your computer. Currently , XMedia Backup supports discs of CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW format and most CD/DVD recorder of MMC compatible.
You can easily make several copies with different versions of your files. You can also use rewritable (CD-RW, DVD-RW, DVD+RW) disks to put new backup versions over old ones. You can select to erase the disk before writing it. Along with flexible XMedia Backup scheduler this feature will turn your CD/DVD writer into a powerful backup engine.
If your data is large enough and cannot be stored on a single CD/DVD, still it is not a problem. Enable auto splitting feature in project setting, XMedia Backup will automatically divide your backup into several disks and will burn them one by one. You will only need to replace disks when it prompts.
